Kor-Chem Fast Set | Screen Blockout Coating

Fast-drying blockout that kills pinholes and seals screen edges in one coat. Kor-Chem Fast Set is a heavy-duty, water-soluble blockout coating that fills the open mesh between your emulsion edge and the frame. The blue formula stands out against the screen so spotting out is easy, and the medium viscosity spreads quickly without running. Works with plastisol, conventional, UV, and water-based inks.

Reach for it when:

• Pinholes show up after exposure and you don't want to re-burn the screen
• Sealing the gap between emulsion and frame before a run
• Blocking out open areas on partially used screens

How to use: With the screen dry and dust-free, pour Fast Set on the ink side and spread it over all open areas with a plastic applicator. Flip the screen, smooth any heavy spots, and let it dry level. Hold the screen up to a light, touch up any remaining pinholes, and let dry. After printing, remove ink with Bio-1 or another ink remover, then rinse the blockout out with water and a soft nylon brush.

Specs: Quart or gallon. One-coat coverage. Water-soluble, cleans up with water. No VOCs, no odor. Biodegradable and drain safe. Works on all mesh counts.
